Bio

I started shooting in college at Towson State, when my girlfriend at the time decided to get into modeling. Thinking it would be a good idea to start shooting her myself, I used my Canon rebel at the time to start getting together a portfolio for her. At the same time I started taking photography I and II in my sophmore year at Towson State. It was then that I completely fell in love with photography. Shooting black and white and developing my own film and prints was so much fun to me and a great creative outlet. I also took jobs at a couple of photo labs, so I could really learn then whole process from taking a photo to developing a color print. I started shooting everything from landscapes to my cats, to people, to abstract compositions that I made. Models eventually became my main interest, and I experimented with different lighting, different compositions, and anything else I could think of to try that was different. Around the same time I started shooting models, I decided to try wedding photography because I had heard you could make a good living out of it, and since I was not good enough yet to get paid by the models, and i was determined to make a living out of photography it seemed like a good thing to try. I started working for one company that taught me the basics, but the company was not very reputable and did not treat their customers right so I decided to move on. My grandfather had told me that a kid I used to hang out with when i was 10 had started his own photography studio Bradley Images. I went in and met with Brad and started working for him in April of 2000. Brad showed me the ins and outs to shooting weddings and helped me refine my skills as a photographer. After about a year working there I started my own wedding studio Priceless Images photography. I continued working for Brad as well as several other studios, learning as much as I could from each photographer. The whole time I was learning the art of shooting weddings I still found models to shoot and kept improving my skills and creating my own style of photographing models. Over the next couple of years I saw myself improving rapidly when it came to weddings and models and decided to make them the two main areas of focus in my photography. I started winning awards, getting published in magazines, and having articles written about me. To this day I am constantly trying to improve everything about my photography. I don't know everything there is to know about photography and I know I am not the best. This is the attitude that will keep me humble in my work and keep me constantly trying to strive to become one of the best.
